I am an advocate for education, the power contained within a capitalistic market with entrepreneurs making jobs and innovating, and have devoted my career to engaging with students, professors, entrepreneurs and real estate investors/homeowners to guide them in their quest to make their goals and desires become reality.

Vital to success is a strong understanding and analysis of a turbulent and constantly changing market with uncertain economic conditions. Whether it's where to go to school or what area to invest in; how to sell a home in a down economy or how to finally get that dream job as an online professor, my value add to my clients is showing someone the specific steps it takes to achieve individual goals and to be a guide by the side along the way.  I share my wins and losses openly, and the lessons learned from both with partners and clients. I am forthright and candid in my approach to business, knowing that mentoring is useless without it.

I am a Professor of Economics for American Military University and teach as an adjunct at other schools, working with students from associates level programs to doctoral programs. I teach economics, technology, statistics, business/management, and other practical subjects. I am a writer, am frequently cited in newspapers and magazines, and have authored several books on real estate, technology, and teaching.  I earned my Doctorate in 2004 and my MBA in 1999. When I started The Babb Group I had one thing in mind - find the absolute hands down best people in business, partner with them and offer the best solutions in the fastest time possible to clients.

I am an analyst and commentator for cable and local news channels - Fox News, Fox Business, MSNBC, NBC, CNN, Bloomberg and others. My goal is to offer a unique perspective to educate consumers on what is taking place in the market, and to offer a fresh look for people on Main Street where analysis really counts. All of the data in the world doesn't matter if we don't know what it means.

I am a licensed real estate agent in California. Although real estate is not my primary profession, I spend much of my time analyzing the real estate investment markets and bringing this to clients and to the media to make sense out of what ever-changing numbers mean for the individual bottom line. Above all else, I am a teacher and a mentor. I help people achieve their goals, whether it is in the classroom, starting a business, buying real estate or becoming an online educator.

I am a workaholic and love analyzing markets and data, studying biology and  medicine for fun, memorizing statistics and playing with new gadgets. I would describe myself as an antiestablishmentarianist that enjoys challenging the status quo and doesn't do things "just because they've always been done that way". It is exciting to be put on the spot by the news anchors and entrepreneurs on shows. I love people and their unique personalities and goals; I love the thrill of life – of success – and all the ups and downs that go with it. I sure prefer the ups but learn the most from the downs! :) I enjoy political strategy, travel, working out, healthy banter, fashion, a great belly laugh, and providing for my daughter - oh, and carbon fiber. :)

I live in California and New York City; a nice blend of fast-paced and chill. I have been very fortunate to be able to travel around the world, and have had the opportunity to meet many amazing people. I have visited most states and many countries, and stay on the road as often as possible.
