I am an instructional designer, working with clients and partners to help students achieve academic success. With experience diligently and successfully managing University policies, procedures and information technology for online courses and programs, I bring a unique understanding of administration and faculty needs to the design process. In addition, I have supervised the career development of various personnel by providing customer service and technical assistance to over 2000 users in higher education; while performing several online learning trainings to improve online student enrollment.
Starting my higher education matriculation at Darton College in Albany, GA with an Associates of Science in Computer Information Systems. Followed by graduating from Albany State University in Albany, Georgia with a degree in Computer Science, receiving credits in Software Engineering from Florida A & M University and obtaining a Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University in Instructional Technology. Currently, pursuing a Ph.D in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas and an Ed.S in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University concurrently.
In addition to my career development, I have enrolled and obtained many certificates among which are, but not limited to ActivInspire Certified Trainer, BrightSpace by D2L Administrator, Computer Networking Certification and Information Systems Security Administrator (DOD).
While not working as an Instructional Designer, I enjoy designing and developing web sites for non-profits, organizations, and small businesses.
