Growth of The Babb Group Inspires Three New Appointments

January 16, 2023, MISSISSAUGA, ON and KATY, TX – Over the past 12 months, The Babb Group (TBG) has experienced tremendous growth in the demand for its instructional design services as well as for the support services it provides to academic job seekers via Professor Services.

As a result, TBG has made three new appointments to expand its daily operations at both TBG and its sister brand, Professor Services.

Michelle Ross is the group’s new Instructional Design Manager. The role is a promotion from her previous role as Instructional Designer. Ross brings years of experience in course development, instructional design, and evaluating courses taught fully online and in blended learning environments to her new position.

Angela Britcher takes the role of Instructional Designer/Content Marketing Specialist. A former news and media producer, Britcher now applies her media, writing, and storytelling skills to instructional design and teaching. A former contractor for TBG, Angela has vast experience helping institutions create curriculum students can apply to their careers.

Morgan McAfee joins TBG full-time as Senior Instructional Designer. A former contractor for the group, McAfee is an experienced faculty member with extensive teaching experience at the graduate level. Her approach is rooted in focusing on what learners to accomplish with each piece of course content.

“These three appointments represent an evolution in the relationships we have had with these three remarkable professionals for years,” said TBG COO Sheila Fry. “Their significant contributions to The Babb Group’s instructional design and curriculum development practice, as well as to ProfessorServices.com as a provider of academic job search supports, have helped drive the amazing growth we are seeing now.”

The appointments result from TBG’s success in supporting client institutions as they respond to greater student demand for fully-online courses, micro-credentials, and programs.
